MomoCon 2015

Finally the last of that crazy month. First was ACEN, then TimeGate, then Niece’s graduation, now this:

  • The move to the Georgia World Congress Center was smart!
Last year’s Momo was at the Hilton and Marriott DragonCon uses. I felt it was a little too spread out preventing a cohesive feel to the con. The GWCC was huge in the right places and the layout was well organized. It had the proper feel of “Lots of people” but not “I can’t move.”
  • Once I looked at the map for 5 minutes it was stupid easy to get everywhere rather than the randomness of hotel layout, names, and floors throwing you off.
  • Game room was huge and well stocked. Dealer’s room was similarly huge. I heard some complaints from artists on the artist alley layout but I think that’s already been taken to heart for next year.
  • Major kudos on the selection of panels this year. I’m an old hat at conventioning and there is precious little new to me anymore. I usually attend 1 or no panels. But even I saw 7 panels I was interested in.
  • Kickass food selection. There was all kinds of things to choose from IN the center. Expensive but a great selection. If you wanted to save a little you could cross the street to the CNN center and still have a nice selection.

I enjoyed myself & will go again.  Now for pictures!

Thursday Night

The usual rules on photos. If you see yourself, take it. It’s yours to use. Credit would be nice.

All pictures are edited and left in a large state. Feel free to edit them further. Never underestimate the power of the crop tool.  If you want the HUGE version contact me in the about section up top.
